Snow Goose
The Snow Goose is a custom built 65-foot motor vessel designed by Ed Monk to cruise the Inside Passage of Alaska and British Columbia. She was built in Ketchikan, Alaska as a private yacht in 1973. A U.S. Coast Guard certified passenger vessel, Snow Goose is equipped with all the safety and navigation equipment you would expect from a vessel of her standard. AccommodationsIdeal for wilderness exploring and comfort, she sleeps 12 passengers in 6 private, fully heated (double occupancy) cabins, with 3 bathrooms and two hot showers. The main deck features a spacious, airy salon, natural history library, galley and dining area. Large windows provide great viewing on all sides with easy access to the deck. The upper bridge deck provides a good vantage-point for spotting wildlife and comfortable seating for passengers who wish to get involved with the navigation of the ship. Snow Goose affords easy access for people of any age and most physical capabilities. There is a large motorized inflatable for shore excursions, and four double kayaks for quietly exploring islands and shorelines. Wonderful cooks serve gourmet meals and beautiful buffets.
