Day 1
Board the David B in Bellingham
Travel to Bedwell Harbor (Clear Customs)
Arrive at Monteque Harbor for overnight anchorage
Day 2
Depart Montague Harbor
Travel through Dodd Narrows
Arrive at Lisqueti Island for overnight anchorage.
Day 3
Depart Lisqueti Island
Arrive in Desolation Sound at Galley Bay for overnight anchorage.
Day 4
Depart Galley Bay after doing some exploring
Travel up Lewis Channel to stop at Cassel Falls
Hike to Cassell Lake
Depart Cassell Falls to arrive at Von Donop Inlet
Kayaking and nature walk. Anchor overnight at Squirrel Cove
Day 5
Depart Von Donop inlet
Arrive at Prideaux Heaven for overnight anchorage and one of the most scenic areas
in Desolation Sound.
Day 6
Depart Prideaux Heaven
Arrive at Green Bay on Nelson Island
*This well protected bay is just a few miles outside of Pender Harbor, a busy town
popular with cruisers.
Day 7
Depart Green Bay
Travel back towards the Gulf Islands through Dodd Narrows to De Coursey Island.
Arrive at Pirates Cove Marine Park for overnight anchorage.
Day 8
*Spend the morning kayaking and beachcombing the tide pools at Pirates Cove.
Depart Pirates Cover South for Thetis Island and Telegraph Cove or Preedy Harbor.
Overnight anchorage at either destination.
*Telegraph Cove has many local artisans and is famous for its collection of murals
that depict the history of this former logging town. Preedy Harbor is close to Telegraph
Cove, but has fewer visits.
Day 9
Depart Preedy Harbor or Telegraph Cove for Bellingham.
Arrive Bedwell Harbor (Clear Customs)
Arrive in Bellingham at 5:00 pm
