Policies
StarSail Cruises sells two types of cruises, one is individual tickets and the other is private charters that reserve the entire boat. Please see below for the deposit and cancellation policy that refers to you. Note: The vessel Liberty Clipper has it's own policies below.
Deposit: A $200 per person deposit for individuals holds a reservation.
A 10% non-refundable* deposit is required for a private charter aboard the Schooner Zodiac to reserve your dates. A 25% deposit, of which 10% is non-refundable is required to reserve your dates on all other vessels.
Payment: A payment in full is required no later then 60 calendar days prior to your departure date.
Cancellation Policy for individuals:
90 days prior to departure - 100%
89-60 days prior to departure - 75%
59-31 days prior to departure - 50%
30-0 days prior to departure - 0%
Cancellation Policy for Private Charters:
A 10% non-refundable deposit secures your dates. Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Cancellations less than 60 days prior to trip - no refund.
Privacy: StarSail values your privacy and will not sell, lend or share your personal information without your explicit permission.
Travel Insurance: We recommend trip cancellation insurance for those unexpected emergencies that life brings. You can contact your local travel agency for more information.
Booking Policies for the vessel Liberty Clipper:
- A 50% deposit is due when you make your reservation.
- The balance is due 60-days prior to your cruise.
- The deposit, less a 10% handling fee on the cost of the entire cruise, is refundable up to 60-days prior to your cruise date, after which date the deposit is non-refundable and the balance is due in full.
- All prices are per person, based upon double occupancy. Single supplement fees may apply.
**If for any reason StarSail Cruises cancels a trip, 100% of the payment will be refunded. All cruises are subject to cancellation, although we do our best to avoid a cancellation. If you are purchasing airline tickets, we strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance. This can be purchased through any travel agency.
